  1. The Way Water is Supposed to Taste I love this water. It doesn’t have a “soft” taste but it is also not overly mineral-y. It just tastes clean and fresh, exactly the way water is supposed to. I have tried many other brands of premium and non-premium bottled water, including Fiji, Evian, Voss, Volvic, Smart Water, and others, and I like the taste of Icelandic the best.   2. pH alkaline as advertised. Ignore the amateur home “Chemist” that say otherwise. I had separate sealed bottles professionally tested for pH. One bottle was from an Icelandic air flight and the other from my Amazon shipment. I had two degreed and veteran Chemists independent test a bottle on different days. The pH was 8.73 and 8.86 respectively. The machine’s tolerance is +- 0.1. So the results are consistent and basically within the machine’s digital tolerance.No insult intended but Litmus paper is more a go no-go for acidic or basic and store bought tests…
